AT CREATE we get it that it’s tough to leave care so we have started the CYF Grants Scheme.  If you’re aged 15 to 25 there might be something we can do to help.  Grants are between $300 and $3000 and you can apply for help with stuff like driving lessons, education and training, travel and conferences.

The 2010 Round 2 Grant Applications will open on Thursday 1 April 2010 and will close on
Friday 7 May 2010.

Being awarded this grant from CREATE allowed me to purchase a laptop and that has meant that I am able to keep in touch with family and friends and these are people that I have not talked to in years.  I am also looking at going back to study next year….. thanks CREATE you never stop helping me achieve better life outcomes and I mean it 
